My research agenda addresses the general area of natural resource management and policy. More specifically, I analyze and measure the transaction costs of agri-environmental policies. I also work in the area of adoption of best management practices relating to water quality in agricultural and urban settings Current research applies insights from behavioral economics to adoption. Bryan L. Garton
Bryan L. Garton is the senior associate dean and director of academic programs for the University of Missouri’s College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR). In this role, Garton provides leadership for the College’s teaching mission, including administration of degree programs, student success, international experiences, scholarships, along with career readiness and placement for over 3,000 students. Garton has served the College in a variety of roles since joining the faculty as an assistant professor of agricultural education in 1993. He served as assistant dean of academic programs and from 2002 to 2007 as chair of the agricultural education department.
