Animal Science:
Get the opportunity to explore Animal Sciences at Mizzou through an interactive presentation that showcases the abundant research opportunities, course curriculum, and hands-on learning available in our degree program. You’ll connect directly with our Animal Sciences representatives during a Q+A panel and get the chance to experience our learning spaces and facilities—all designed to help you see how Animal Sciences can shape your future.

Agricultural Systems Technology:
If you’re interested in technology, machinery, engineering, and business, AST prepares you to lead the future of modern agriculture. Students explore cutting-edge topics like precision agriculture, digital agricultural systems, machinery, hydraulics, structures, electrical systems, sensors, and the Internet of Things (IoT). AST is also home to the Precision Agriculture Certificate, giving students an edge in one of agriculture’s fastest-growing fields.Our students combine science, technology, and engineering to solve real-world challenges and manage today’s complex agricultural production systems. Learning goes far beyond the classroom with hands-on experiences in our shops, research labs, student organizations, industry-focused projects, internships and more!

Biochemistry:
Are you passionate about medicine, genetics, biotechnology, or scientific research? Discover how a degree in Biochemistry from the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources can be your launchpad to a successful future. Our program offers hands-on lab and research experiences led by world-renowned faculty, giving students a competitive edge. Biochemistry is an excellent path for students planning to attend medical or dental school—our graduates are well-prepared for entrance exams like the MCAT and DAT, with approximately 75% gaining acceptance on their first try. Many of our alumni pursue careers in leading research companies such as Sigma, Dow, Pfizer, and Bayer, while others advance to PhD programs in biochemistry and related fields across the country.

Parks, Recreation, Sport and Tourism:
Beyond the Gold: Running Mizzou’s Homecoming 2026
Go behind the scenes of planning Mizzou’s Homecoming and discover the exciting careers that make one of the nation’s largest collegiate traditions possible. In this interactive session, you’ll work in teams to plan game day operations, create visitor experiences, design new recreational events, and respond to unexpected challenges just like professionals in sport management, tourism, and recreation. Put your leadership, creativity, and problem-solving skills to the test and see if you have what it takes to help run Mizzou Homecoming.

Looking for a career that combines leadership, communication, service, and people skills? Join this engaging session to explore Agricultural Leadership, Communications and Education and Hospitality Management, two majors that prepare students to make an impact through relationship-building, problem-solving, and strategic communication. Learn how these programs can lead to exciting careers such as agricultural education, marketing, public policy, event planning, restaurant management, sales, and more. Whether you’re passionate about agriculture, hospitality, or connecting with others, discover where these versatile degrees can take you!

Food Science and Human Nutrition:
Explore the versatile Food Science and Human Nutrition degree that prepares you to improve health and well-being through food and nutrition. Students choose from three focused tracks—Food Science, Human Nutrition, and Food, Nutrition, and Business—allowing you to tailor your studies to your interests and career goals. Through hands-on learning, cutting-edge labs, and real-world experiences, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed for careers in health care, industry, research, and beyond. Whether you’re passionate about developing safe, innovative foods or helping people live healthier lives, this program gives you a strong foundation for a meaningful career.

Environmental Sciences:
Become the Expert: Flood Response Challenge
What would you do if an entire region was threatened by catastrophic flooding? In this interactive environmental science challenge, you’ll become part of a disaster response team working to protect communities, wildlife, and ecosystems across southern Missouri. Use real-world environmental science concepts, analyze information, and collaborate with others to make critical decisions. Discover how environmental scientists help solve some of today’s biggest environmental challenges while putting your problem-solving skills to the test.

Agribusiness Management/Personal Financial Planning:
Explore the business side of CAFNR by learning more about the Agribusiness Management (ABM) and Personal Financial Planning (PFP) programs. Meet current students and faculty as they share insights about coursework, student organizations, internships, and career opportunities in each major. The Agribusiness Management program prepares students for careers in sales, marketing, management, finance, and agricultural policy. The Personal Financial Planning program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for careers in wealth management and financial advising while preparing them to pursue the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification.

Natural Resource Science & Management:
Do you like working with wildlife, fisheries, forestry or the great outdoors? Are you interested in making a difference in conservation, ecology, and the environment? Visit with the advisor for Natural Resources Science and Management degree to discuss how our program will make you competitive in these fields. Come see our classrooms and indoor lab spaces, learn about potential career options, our curriculum, undergrad research, outdoor learning spaces, study abroad, and student organizations. The session will end with time for lots of questions!

Nutrition and Exercise Physiology:
Launch your journey into the science of health and human performance with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, a program designed for students who want to pursue careers such as exercise physiology, physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, athletic or personal training, medicine, dentistry and other health professions. You’ll select one of two specialized tracks—Physical Activity, Nutrition, and Human Performance (PANHP) or Human Physiology and Translational Sciences (HPTS; pre‑med/pre‑dental)—to match your goals. Both tracks provide a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and exercise science, helping you understand how the body works and how to support lifelong health. Through engaging coursework and hands-on learning, you’ll be well prepared for advanced certification, professional/graduate school, and meaningful careers in health care and human performance.

Plant Sciences:
Whether you’re passionate about science, love exploring your creative side, or enjoy hands-on learning, Plant Science has something for everyone! Discover the wide range of opportunities within Plant Sciences through our emphasis areas in Breeding Biology & Biotechnology, Crop Management, and Horticultural Science & Design, as well as certificates in Landscape Design, Floral Artistry Management, and Precision Agriculture Technology.
