Agricultural Leadership, Communications and Education
Combine agriculture and working with people. Choose from two tracks: communications or education. Shape the next generation’s understanding of agriculture. Use communication and human relations skills to help the public understand where food comes from.
Prepare for a variety of careers including:
- Education. Teach the many facets of agriculture, from crops and livestock to economics and marketing.
- Public Relations. Communicate messages about a company’s products or an organization’s cause through social media, radio, television and print.
- Youth Programs. Develop educational programs for youth in groups such as 4-H and for extension services.
- Sales & Marketing. Showcase and promote products related to food and crop production
