Senior Spotlight: Hunter Seubert

Seubert will graduate with a degree in plant sciences.

The University of Missouri men’s and women’s disc golf teams carried undefeated seasons into 2022 College Disc Golf National Championship competition, and both teams would end their seasons the same way – as national champions. Two CAFNR students played important roles in the wins – Alexis Kerman (pictured front row, far left) and Jared Brabant (pictured back row, far left). Kerman is a graduate student in natural resources, who also earned her undergraduate degree in parks, recreation and sport from MU. Brabant also received his bachelor’s degree from Mizzou, in natural resource science and management. He is currently a graduate student in plant, insect and microbial sciences. Teng Lim Receives Fancher Outstanding Achievement in Extended & Continuing Education 2022

Teng Lim, Extension professor in the Division of Plant Science and Technology, has received the 2022 Donald W. Fancher Provost Award for Outstanding Achievement in in Extension and Continuing Education.

The Mizzou National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) team won this year's National Student Marketing Competition. Their first-place presentation centered on the GerriRig Grain Management System, a product the team modeled after the Grain Weevil, a grain bin safety and management robot. MU competed against more than 20 teams in early April during NAMA’s annual Agri-Marketing Conference.
