The University of Missouri’s Digital Agriculture Research and Extension Center (DAREC) is hosting its third Digital Agriculture Symposium, “Breaking Barriers to Digital Agriculture Technology Adoption Through Collaboration” July 27-28.

The two-day symposium combines research presentations, student engagement, technology demonstrations and networking opportunities designed to strengthen collaboration across the digital agriculture ecosystem. This year’s theme highlights the importance of moving beyond innovation to practical implementation. The symposium will showcase cutting-edge research, emerging technologies and successful partnerships that accelerate technology adoption and create real-world impact for agricultural producers.

The first day — hosted at CAFNR’s Bradford Research Farm — will focus on research, featuring invited keynote speakers, technical presentations, panel discussions and the Student Research Poster Competition. Participants will explore the latest advances in digital agriculture research while engaging with experts from academia, government and industry.

Day two — set at CAFNR’s South Farm — will focus on technology, providing a unique opportunity to experience digital agriculture technologies in action through live field demonstrations, equipment showcases and interactive discussions with technology developers and agricultural professionals.
