- University Catalog
To find the degree requirements, refer to the university catalog. You should follow the catalog based on the year you began at Mizzou. For instance, if you began in Fall 2024, you should follow the 24-25 catalog. Students who begin in Spring 2025 should also follow the 24-25 catalog. If you have questions, you can email CAFNRadvising@missouri.edu to clarify.
Submit Your Graduation Plan in Stellic
To make sure you’re on track to graduate, you’ll work with your advisor to submit your course plan (grad plan) in Stellic.
When to Submit
Once you’ve completed 75 credit hours, a registration hold will be placed on your account. This means you won’t be able to enroll in future classes until your plan is submitted. After review, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your approved plan attached.
Exceptions
Talk with your advisor about how your transfer courses might apply. Your advisor can make exception requests in Stellic.
Programs should be kept up-to-date. Do not wait until the last semester to make changes.
Email CAFNRadvising@missouri.edu with any questions.
Graduation Ceremonies
Visit Mizzou Commencement for up-to-date campus details.
Dismissal Appeals
Students have the right to appeal to an academic unit following their first academic dismissal. To appeal to a CAFNR major, students must submit the CAFNR Academic Appeal Form no later than the deadlines listed in the form. To appeal to another academic unit, students can review their options and appeal instructions on MU Advising.
Students who intend on changing their major to a CAFNR program must have a 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Students who do not meet this requirement, but are not academically dismissed, should email cafnradvising@missouri.edu with their name, student ID number, and which major they hope to declare in CAFNR. From there, a staff member will work with the student on next steps.
