Fourth annual CAFNR Research Symposium poster winners announced

The fourth annual CAFNR Research Symposium was held Tuesday, Oct. 1, and included a poster session. Undergraduate and graduate students as well as postdocs contributed posters to the session. In total, 89 posters were exhibited.

Errin Anderson Named Driver to Distinction

CAFNR Vice Chancellor and Dean Christopher Daubert recognized Errin Anderson, program coordinator in Biochemistry, with a CAFNR Driver to Distinction award June 14, 2024, in honor of the integral role she plays in Biochemistry’s faculty recruitment efforts. In the past year alone, Anderson’s attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills contributed greatly to the successful recruitment of two faculty members and the campus visits of four MizzouForward candidates.

Scott Peck receives Provost’s Award for Leadership in International Education

Scott Peck, professor, Division of Biochemistry, and member of the Interdisciplinary Plant Group, has been chosen to receive the Provost’s Award for Leadership in International Education. This award recognizes faculty who have provided outstanding leadership in strengthening the University of Missouri’s international dimension by demonstrating outstanding leadership in international education by virtue of their contributions.
