Senior Spotlight: Elias Bunting

Bunting will graduate with a degree in natural resource science and management.
The University of Missouri men’s and women’s disc golf teams carried undefeated seasons into 2022 College Disc Golf National Championship competition, and both teams would end their seasons the same way – as national champions. Two CAFNR students played important roles in the wins – Alexis Kerman (pictured front row, far left) and Jared Brabant (pictured back row, far left). Kerman is a graduate student in natural resources, who also earned her undergraduate degree in parks, recreation and sport from MU. Brabant also received his bachelor’s degree from Mizzou, in natural resource science and management. He is currently a graduate student in plant, insect and microbial sciences. CAFNR Teaching Academy Inducts Three New Members

Three new members were inducted into the CAFNR Teaching Academy as part of the college’s Celebration of Excellence event April 19. Membership in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Teaching Academy will be reserved for CAFNR faculty who have received a distinguished teaching award on a national, regional, or university level that crosses disciplines. The inductees are: Argerich is the recipient of the 2021 Provost’s Outstanding Junior Faculty Teaching Award. This award recognizes junior faculty for superior teaching and advising on the MU campus.
