FAPRI-MU Updates U.S. Agricultural Market Snapshot

Rishabh Mahendra receives the International Student Award

This award honors an international graduate or professional student who shows exemplary leadership and service to the university and to the international student community.
The Mizzou National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) team won this year's National Student Marketing Competition. Their first-place presentation centered on the GerriRig Grain Management System, a product the team modeled after the Grain Weevil, a grain bin safety and management robot. MU competed against more than 20 teams in early April during NAMA’s annual Agri-Marketing Conference. CAFNR Teaching Academy Inducts Three New Members

Three new members were inducted into the CAFNR Teaching Academy as part of the college’s Celebration of Excellence event April 19. Membership in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Teaching Academy will be reserved for CAFNR faculty who have received a distinguished teaching award on a national, regional, or university level that crosses disciplines. The inductees are: Argerich is the recipient of the 2021 Provost’s Outstanding Junior Faculty Teaching Award. This award recognizes junior faculty for superior teaching and advising on the MU campus. Hendrickson received the Excellence in Instruction Award from the Agriculture,…
