MU Collegiate Soil Judging places 3rd at regional contest, helps out rival team

Last month, the MU Collegiate Soil Judging Team took home third place at the 2025 Region V Soil Judging Contest in Omaha, advancing to the 2026 National Collegiate Soil Judging contest in Raleigh, North Carolina, this upcoming spring. Mizzou’s team is the largest collegiate soil judging team in the nation, and although 24 Mizzou students competed in the contest, only 21 actually competed for the Tigers.

Three faculty in CAFNR's Division of Plant Science and Technology have been named 2025 Highly Cited Researchers by Clarivate, marking them as among the most influential researchers in the world: Felix Fritschi, C. Advisor Alison Rutledge honored with Golden Apple Award

Alison Rutledge, senior academic advisor in the Division of Biochemistry, was surprised with the CAFNR Golden Apple Award Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Hendrickson’s research tackles a variety of food system topics. She examines food system structure; alternative ways of participating in the food system for farmers, consumers and communities and the social, economic and ecological impacts thereof; and the impacts of food system organization and technological change on international farming systems.
