Internships

As a student in the Division of Food, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences, you are encouraged to participate in an off-campus internship during your time at Mizzou. With an internship, you will gain professional experience and expand your resume. Visit Handshake or attend one of the annual CAFNR Career Fairs to find opportunities.

Students majoring in nutrition, exercise and physiology can take NEP 4940 – Physical Activity, Nutrition and Human Performance Internship for credit hours.

Buck’s Ice Cream

Buck’s Ice Cream Place serves as an integrated research, teaching and service-oriented laboratory where students work and learn everything about ice cream, from maintenance and inventory to manufacturing and retail. Visit Buck’s to find out more.

NutriZou

NutriZou is a free nutrition coaching services clinic associated with the Division of Food, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences and University of Missouri Extension. MU dietetic students provide nutrition coaching appointments to community members under the supervision of the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Visit NutriZou to learn more.
