Dae-Young Kim and Beomjoo Kim Earn Best Paper Award
Dae-Young Kim, a professor of hospitality management, and Beomjoo Kim, a master’s student in hospitality management, received the best paper award at the Tourism Sciences Society of Korea (TOSOK) International Tourism Conference. Their paper was titled, “Effects of source and message on travel YouTube: Cognitive and affective destination images of S. Korea.” Dae-Young Kim’s research mainly focuses on consumer behavior and hospitality/tourism marketing. After earning her associate’s degree from North Central Missouri College (NCMC) in Trenton, Mo., Carli Carmack joined the Office of Sponsored Programs at the University of Missouri as an office support assistant. That was nearly nine years ago. Carmack has worked her way up in the office, and now serves as an administrative team lead. Why did you decide to come to the University of Missouri and major in food science and nutrition? What do you enjoy about the program itself? The field of study? A ‘Mind-Blowing’ Experience
When Chloe Dobson arrived at the University of Missouri in 2017, her declared major was political science. Dobson said she was hoping to eventually attend law school. A Thomas Rhett concert at Mizzou changed all of that. Dobson signed up as event staff for the concert, which took place in late 2017.
