Dae-Young Kim and Beomjoo Kim Earn Best Paper Award




Dae-Young Kim, a professor of hospitality management, and Beomjoo Kim, a master’s student in hospitality management, received the best paper award at the Tourism Sciences Society of Korea (TOSOK) International Tourism Conference. Their paper was titled, “Effects of source and message on travel YouTube: Cognitive and affective destination images of S. Korea.”

Dae-Young Kim’s research mainly focuses on consumer behavior and hospitality/tourism marketing. These two closely related fields involve the use of various research methods and applied strategies. Under the umbrella of the traveler behavior and marketing, his research specialties include information technology, meetings and event management, advertising effectiveness, and destination management.
