Robyn Eschenbrenner Holliday honored with 2026 Outstanding Undergraduate Advisor Award

Robyn Holliday (Eschenbrenner) is an academic advisor for students in the agribusiness management and personal financial planning degree programs.

Robyn Eschenbrenner Holliday received CAFNR’s 2026 Outstanding Undergraduate Advisor Award at the college’s Celebration of Excellence awards ceremony April 23.

Holliday is an academic advisor for the Personal Financial Planning and Agribusiness Management undergraduate programs in the Division of Applied Social Sciences (DASS). She serves more than 250 students each semester.

Her 2025 advising assessment scores from CAFNR Academic Programs speak volumes to the success she has had in her three years with the college. Holliday’s 262 advisees are in near-unanimous agreement that she is a helpful asset to their undergraduate experience.

“Robyn is a true DASS success story,” said DASS Director Harvey James, Jr. “She earned her undergraduate degree in agricultural education and leadership in our department and was named Outstanding Junior in the college during her program.”

Holliday’s passion for the programs she represents as both an alumna and advisor even shows in student retention data.

“ABM had a 100% retention rate this fall, and Robyn’s efforts undoubtedly influenced that success,” said Matthew Sveum, program chair for agribusiness management. “Academic advising is not an easy job, especially when keeping track of requirements for two different degrees.”

Holliday’s commitment to serving students doesn’t stop in the classroom. She also dedicates time after hours to the Agribusiness Management Club and plays an active role in the Financial Planning Club.

“Robyn is more than an advisor – she is a trusted mentor,” said Katy Parcell, agribusiness management major. “I know her door is always open and that it is a safe place to bring any concern.”
