I am the Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP) Assistant Coordinator.

How long have you worked in this position?

I have been in this position for a little over 15 months now but I have been with the University of Missouri for almost 6 years now.

What is your favorite part about the work you do?

My favorite part of this position is getting to work with such great Extension Specialists. They have all been extremely helpful and supportive of both me and the program.

How are you helping MU A&E Extension reach our #2xAg2030 goal?

I am helping MU A&E Extension reach the #2xAg2030 goal by helping pesticide applicators navigate new laws and regulations that are coming in the near future.

What is something your CAFNR and MU Extension teammates may not know about you?

Something a lot of my CAFNR and MU Extension teammates may not know about me is that I am an avid art collector. I try to collect from Missouri artists in particular. I have several pieces from both former and current professors. As soon as I say I work at Mizzou they immediately consider me a friend.

What is your hometown, place of high school graduation, and degrees/universities?

I grew up on a small dairy farm near Lanesboro, Minnesota. I attended Lanesboro High School and graduated in 2008. I then went to the University of North Dakota and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology. After undergrad, I then recieved a master’s degree in plant pathology from Iowa State University, and I have been working for Mizzou ever since.
