What is your research focus?  My research focuses on energy policy and their implications on the population. Currently, I am conducting research on the public perception of nuclear waste in Missouri, learning from the public’s experience, to approximate the concerns that will occur in a future permanent repository, yet to be defined by the Department of Energy, but needed soon. Message from Dojin Ryu

It has been a busy year for the Division of Food, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences (FNES)! I have just completed my first full year as director. I am pleased with progress we are making in our mission areas of teaching, research and extension. I share with you here a few highlights! FNES welcomed 126 new undergraduates in August; a 25% increase from last year! Total combined opening day enrollment in our two majors, Food Science & Nutrition and Nutrition & Exercise Physiology (NEP), was 426. Also in August, we welcomed a “new,” full-time academic advisor, Tammy Conrad.
