Lauryn Robnett receives Outstanding Senior Award as part of 2024 Celebration of Excellence

Lauryn Robnett, an agribusiness management major, was named Outstanding Senior at CAFNR’s 2024 Celebration of Excellence awards ceremony, held Tuesday, April 16. 

Robnett, who is also minoring in plant science and international agriculture, has served in multiple leadership roles during her time at the University of Missouri, including as president of the CAFNR Student Council. She has been a CAFNR Ambassador since 2022, where she has helped promote all that the college has to offer to potential students. Robnett has also served as the president of the Mizzou National Agri-Marketing Association since 2021. She was a Litton Leadership Scholar in the 2012-22 academic year.  

Robnett is also a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, Mizzou Collegiate Farm Bureau, and Chancellors Leadership Class. Off-campus, Robnett has held internships with Bayer and John Deere, and will join Corteva Agriscience as a Sales Territory Associate after graduation.  

Robnett currently works as a student assistant for EXCEED – Regional Economic and Entrepreneurial Development.  

“Lauryn has been a beacon of leadership and engagement throughout her Mizzou journey,” said Annette Kendall, assistant extension professor in the Division of Applied Social Sciences. “Her academic achievements, innovative contributions, inspirational leadership, and personal dedication to agriculture and community service distinguish her as a deserving recipient of the Outstanding Senior Student Award.”
