
Hank Stelzer, associate professor of forestry, state extension specialist in forestry and education director of extension natural resources, has been given the Donald W. Fancher Provost Award for Outstanding Achievement in Extension and Continuing Education.
His primary research and extension focus is on engaging private forest landowners for sustaining upland oak ecosystems. Secondary interests are tree and forest health, community and urban forestry.
This award provides special recognition to faculty members who have made outstanding contributions to the Extension and continuing education efforts of the campus.
