What are your job duties/job responsibilities in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources?
I am technically the Marketing Coordinator, which is a lot of fancy words telling you I am a graphic designer for the college. I look forward to putting my creative skills toward good use in adding life, vibrancy and fun to the printed and digital materials used for promotion of the college.
How long have you worked in CAFNR?
I started in August of 2025.
What do you enjoy about working for CAFNR/Mizzou?
The thing I enjoy the most is the willingness to go above and beyond to collaborate across the college to achieve our common goals. Everyone is supportive, engaging and that is what makes it so enjoyable to come to the office each day.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
It would probably be a shorter list if we talked about what I don’t do? Anyways… I have two daughters, Penelope (11) and Alexandra (6) and they keep us running between gymnastics, volleyball and softball. Personally, I love reading, listening to music and a goal for myself is to learn how to bake the fancy cakes like the ones you get from the stores. I’m also a huge sports fanatic… Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, as well as many Mizzou sports, but our favorite to support feature the wonderful athletes on the Mizzou Gymnastics squad. Oh, we also have two dogs (Goldendoodles) and 5 chickens.
What is something your co-workers/other CAFNR employees don’t know about you?
As a kid, I had two dreams. I wanted to be a meteorologist, I was (and still am) obsessed with the weather. I also dreamed of being the drum major that lead Marching Mizzou onto the field at football games… which is what drove me to being in band and then a part of the marching band. I played the clarinet from 4th grade through my senior year of college at the University of Central Missouri — I was in the marching band from junior high through college.
