What are your job duties/job responsibilities in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources?
In my role as Senior Director of Advancement, my responsibilities are to cultivate relationships with alumni and friends, which will result in financial support for CAFNR’s strategic priorities. Joining the Advancement Team in the early stages of the Power The Roar Campaign is an exciting time!
How long have you worked in CAFNR?
A little over two months! Brand new to CAFNR!
What do you enjoy about working for CAFNR/Mizzou?
Being of service to the community is important to me. That’s what I love about Mizzou and CAFNR – both in service to the citizens of Missouri, and beyond. I have always found great purpose in MU being the land-grant institution for Missouri, and now I am learning about how CAFNR is the college for the state of Missouri. It’s really inspiring. Additionally, as a Mizzou alumna (BS HES ’96), I am very proud to represent my alma mater.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
My husband and I enjoy live music and seeing our favorite bands. My favorite free-time activity is cuddling with my orange tabby boys – Shermy and Woodstock.
What is something your co-workers/other CAFNR employees don’t know about you?
Some of my co-workers know that U2 is my favorite band. Most people don’t know that I’ve seen them in concert 10 times!
