Mizzou Student Chapter of the American Institute of Floral Designers Win Awards at AIFD National Symposium in Orlando, FL

DAREC Symposium poster winners announced

The new MU Digital Agriculture Research and Extension Center (DAREC) held its first-ever Digital Agriculture Symposium June 20-21. The symposium included a poster session, and four students, two graduate and two undergraduate, were recognized with awards for their work. CAFNR Vice Chancellor and Dean Christopher Daubert recognized Errin Anderson, program coordinator in Biochemistry, with a CAFNR Driver to Distinction award June 14, 2024, in honor of the integral role she plays in Biochemistry’s faculty recruitment efforts. Secley Kennedy Honored with Chancellor’s Outstanding Staff Award

CAFNR Colleagues gather to celebrate Secley Kennedy. President Mun Choi and staff advisory council members present award to Secley Kennedy during Staff Recognition Week. This spring, Staff Advisory Council and CAFNR colleagues gathered in Buck’s Ice Cream Place to surprise Secley Kennedy with the news that she had received the 2024 Chancellor’s Outstanding Staff Award – Clerical/Office. DASS faculty member honored by Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City

The Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City honored Scott Brown, associate extension professor in the Division of Applied Social Sciences, with the group’s prestigious Jay B. Dillingham Award for Agricultural Leadership and Excellence at a luncheon held May 16 in Kansas City’s historic Union Station.
