The CAFNR Alumni Association awarded $50,700 in total funding across 22 of the college’s student organizations and programs for the 2026 to 2027 academic year. The financial support directly impacts more than 1,200 University of Missouri Students. 

The grants are supported by the CAFNR 150 Endowment. They provide financial backing for high-impact educational experiences that extend beyond the classroom. 

“CAFNR 150 grants ensure that our students have access to the experiences and opportunities that enrich their academic journey and prepare them for successful careers,” said Jeff Moore, CAFNR Alumni Association President. “This year’s recipients are continuing to push the boundaries of innovation and leadership, and we are proud to invest in their growth.” 

This year’s 22 funded recipients represent a wide array of student-led organizations across CAFNR disciplines, including: 

• Torq’N Tigers 

• National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) 

• Mizzou Financial Planning Association 

• Collegiate Farm Bureau 

• Student Association for Fire Ecology (SAFE) 

• MU Forestry Club 

• Pre-Veterinary Club (AVPMA Symposium & Wet Labs) 

• Mizzou Agribusiness Management Club 

• University of Missouri Agronomy Club 

The funds also extend to Dairy Evaluation, Biochemistry, Fisheries, Horticulture, Poultry, Swine and Cattle organizations, among others. 

Since its inception, the CAFNR 150 Endowment has played a crucial role in providing financial support that elevates the quality of learning and career readiness across the college.
