Jenna Fusinatto, the academic advisor for the parks, recreation, sport and tourism (PRST) degree program, received the 2026 Missouri Academic Advising Association (MACADA) Outstanding Academic Advising, Primary Role Award.
As a recipient of the award, Fusinatto was recognized at the organization’s 2026 conference Sept. 18. She will also receive a free one-year membership to MACADA and free registration to the 2027 MACADA conference.
MACADA promotes excellence in academic advising, provides professional development opportunities to higher education professionals across the state of Missouri and promotes the overall awareness of academic advising as a profession.
Fusinatto also serves as the senior student services coordinator for the School of Natural Resources at the University of Missouri. She is in her 13th year of advising and advises around 400 students in the PRST program – one of the largest advising loads in CAFNR.
