Jenna Fusinatto, an academic advisor for the Parks, Recreation, Sport and Tourism (PRST) degree program, has been selected as the 2025-2026 Laura Taddeucci Downs NSCS National Advisor of the Year.
Each academic year, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) recognizes one outstanding advisor with this award, honoring their contributions as an exceptional leader. As a recipient of the award, Fusinatto will receive a $1,000 professional stipend and is invited to attend the organization’s national annual member conference in August.
The NSCS is an honors organization that recognizes and supports high-achieving students. The nonprofit is recognized at nearly 300 campuses nationwide. Laura Taddeucci Downs was the first NSCS advisor at the organization’s inaugural chapter.
Fusinatto is in her 13th year of advising and advises around 400 students in the PRST program – one of the largest advising loads in CAFNR.
