Decision-making under uncertainty
Dr. Massey has worked on developing computer tools that agricultural decision-makers can use to integrate weather and other uncertainties into their decision processes. These tools take large weather data sets and process them through equations developed by scientists (e.g. growing degree days, machinery efficiency) to provide information in a way that farmers can use it.
