Gowdy’s administrative responsibilities range from overseeing the operation of the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) greenhouse facilities to serving as chairman of the CAFNR Courses & Curriculum Committee. In addition, Gowdy is a member of the Plant Science Undergraduate Education committee, Greenhouse committee and coordinates undergraduate student recruitment for Plant Sciences. She also serves as the Program Leader for Tiger Garden, the student-operated campus floral shop.
