Research Summary

Research interests are in cardiometabolic health, gut microbiome, and omics techniques in the context of clinical nutrition interventions, and pre-ingestive controls of nutrition. Current research program is focused on using systems biology approaches to understand the effects of dietary patterns and exercise on human health and host-microbiome interactions, and in alleviating health disparities.
