Research Summary
Hemmelgarn's research is focused on place-based relational accountability and program evaluation in community-driven agroforestry partnerships.
Hannah Hemmelgarn oversees the Center for Agroforestry’s training programs, partnerships, and events. Her background as an agroforestry practitioner, an educator, and a program coordinator informs her work to advance agroforestry implementation through network development, training program design, and critical research connections. She and her staff team coordinate the Annual Agroforestry Symposium, the Agroforestry Training Academy and seasonal public and professional training events, develop content for Action in Agroforestry E-News, and facilitate student engagement and internships.
