Description

Anne McKendry had a research/teaching appointment in soft red winter wheat breeding and genetics. Her research focus included breeding methodology, wheat quality and the genetics of host plant disease resistance. A more recent interest was on identification, genetic analyses and use of new sources of resistance to Fusarium head blight (scab) in wheat. She taught Introduction to Field Crop Breeding, Advanced Plant Breeding, Genetics of Agricultural Plants and Animals, and Undergraduate Seminar.
