Membership in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Teaching Academy will be reserved for CAFNR faculty who have received a distinguished teaching award on a national, regional, or university level that is selected by peers.
Examples include:
- William T. Kemper Fellowship for Teaching Excellence
- USDA Excellence Award for College and University Teaching
- Provost’s Outstanding Junior Faculty Teaching Award
- Professional Society Teaching Award (e.g., American Society of Animal Science Distinguished Teacher Award, North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture Teaching Award of Excellence or Educator Award, American Society of Plant Biologists, Excellence in Education Award)
