The Natural Resources Alumni Association works closely with the School of Natural Resources Student Council and the School of Natural Resources Student Ambassadors to provide events and opportunities for undergraduate students throughout the year.
We accomplish this through:
- Scholarship fund development
- Networking events
- Professional development events
- Student recognition
Our signature events:
- Chillin’ with the Mentors
- Trivia in the Wild
- Homecoming “Bloat” (boat that is a float)
- Chili Cookoff
We also partner with student organizations to hold the New Student Breakfast to welcome all incoming freshman and the Senior Luau to say congratulations to the outgoing seniors.
Being involved in the Natural Resources Alumni Association has several benefits! You get the opportunity to reconnect with old classmates as well as interact with and help the next generation of students start their careers as natural resources professionals.
Another benefit is that you don’t have to have a membership to help! We encourage any form of help; from attending our events or meetings to simply spreading the word about our organization and activities.
