Discover your future in agricultural education with the Missouri Teach Agricultural Education Academy, an event designed to inspire and equip the next generation of agricultural educators by building the real-world skills needed for success. Participants will explore the rewards of teaching agriculture, strengthen communication and leadership abilities through an active classroom simulation, and develop engaging, innovative lesson plans tailored to today’s learners.
The academy features three dynamic components: crafting a modified lesson plan on the day of the event using a provided template, presenting an overview of that lesson to a panel of judges, and showcasing confidence and critical thinking by responding to judge questions.
