What are your job duties/job responsibilities in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources?I serve as an associate teaching professor in the Division of Food, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences and as a CAFNR AI Fellow. My responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in nutrition and exercise physiology, mentoring students and supporting faculty efforts to responsibly integrate AI into teaching and research. I also participate in curriculum design, service activities and research projects that focus on increasing physical activity in and outside the classroom. Mandy Bish recognized with Provost’s Award for Creative Extension Programming by New Faculty

Mandy Bish, assistant professor and extension plant pathologist, has been chosen to receive the Provost’s Award for Creative Extension Programming by New Faculty. Bish also serves as the MU Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Coordinator and director of SCN Diagnostics. Her research is focused on identifying economical and sustainable solutions for disease management in crop production with specific focus on corn and soybeans. This award recognizes faculty with a current (at least 25 percent) extension assignment who have made exceptional accomplishments in their first four years of service to MU in the field of extension or continuing education.
