Jamille Palacios Rivera, assistant teaching professor in the Division of Applied Social Sciences, received a 2020-21 professional development award from The Huddle, a network-building program for junior faculty of color at Mizzou. The Huddle, housed in the Office of the Provost, brings together junior faculty so they can meet with, learn from, and develop a sense of community by interacting with senior faculty who are proud to call Mizzou their home. The Huddle is made up of approximately 25 junior faulty members, as well as 10 senior faculty members.
