Go global with CAFNR!

Study abroad to find your adventure, discover a new view of the world, and boost your resume! Learning and understanding a new culture and way of communicating, solving problems, and developing independence, are all experiences that will add an invaluable international dimension to your CAFNR degree.

CAFNR students can participate in 20 study abroad programs in 16 countries! Choose from Australia, Austria, Belize, Costa Rica, England, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Scotland, Spain, and Switzerland.

CAFNR offers tailored short-term faculty-led programs over spring break, winter break, and at the end of May. Students can also spend a few weeks abroad during the summer or study for an entire semester at one of our partner universities.

While some study abroad programs are degree specific or provide internship opportunities, others are more general and applicable to all CAFNR students. In addition, study abroad coursework can be applied to the Minor in International Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources and/or your degree program.

To make study abroad experiences possible for CAFNR students, the college provides undergraduate study abroad scholarships specifically for CAFNR students. Award amounts vary based on academic merit, financial need, and CAFNR program. Mizzou also offers financial aid for study abroad.
