What are your job duties/job responsibilities in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources?
I am the senior manager of donor relations for CAFNR Advancement. I lead multiple programs, special events and communications to provide stewardship, cultivation and engagement for donors and their families, alumni, volunteers, friends, students, faculty, staff and organizations. I manage the scholarship stewardship process, the donor acknowledgement process, the Executive-in-Residence Program and intern, the Monticello Society and all things grateful donor engagement. I plan all donor engagement/relation events such as the Scholarship Dinner, Column Awards, gift celebrations and groundbreakings. I also serve on the CAFNR staff council as marketing/events coordinator.
How long have you worked in CAFNR?
I have worked in CAFNR for eight months, but I have been at Mizzou for almost two years. I worked previously in the College of Engineering Office of Advancement.
What do you enjoy about working for CAFNR/Mizzou?
What I love about CAFNR is the vast array of faculty, staff, donors and alumni and all of the amazing work that they do. There is never a dull moment in CAFNR and I am always learning something new about agriculture, forestry, agronomy, etc.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I like to ride my bike, run and spend time with my Pitbull named Breakfast.
What is something your co-workers/other CAFNR employees don’t know about you?
I used to teach middle school reading and writing in Kansas City and Jefferson City. I love karaoke, so if you ever need anyone to get on a mic I’m your girl!
