What are your job duties/job responsibilities in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources?

• I work at the Southwest Research, Extension and Education Center, as the Outreach Coordinator! As an Outreach Coordinator, I get to help plan and set up events at the education center, gather materials and information month to month for our newsletter, manage our social media platforms, and develop educational videos for local agriculture producers.

How long have you worked in CAFNR?

• I have worked in CAFNR for three years total, but a year and a half in my current position.

What do you enjoy about working for CAFNR/Mizzou?

• There are many attributes that I enjoy working for CAFNR, but the one I love the most is working with people who love Natural Resources and Agriculture as much as I do. Working with a great group of people who can help each other and are passionate about educating the public on various types of agriculture is truly the best part of my job.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

• I am a very outdoorsy person. I enjoy hiking, kayaking on the rivers, gardening, going to concerts and playing pickleball. You can usually find me outside throughout the year!

What is something your co-workers/other CAFNR employees don’t know about you?

• Something my coworkers might not know about me is that I love to read books! I love rainy days where I can enjoy a good book on the couch with my dog.
