Ben Brown, extension agricultural economist, supported the Agricultural Systems Technology Club’s annual Lawn Mower Tune-Up fundraiser. Local Boone County community members dropped off their mowers for club members to perform oil changes, sharpen blades and power wash. Proceeds from this fundraiser help club members travel for industry tours.Students gathered in the Mizzou Rec Center to network with employers on Wednesday, March 5, at the Spring CAFNR/Arts & Science Career Fair. The CAFNR Ambassadors are a group of students that work to represent the college to prospective students throughout the year. They conduct regular meetings every other Tuesday to work on recruitment events and other CAFNR business. CAFNR faculty, staff and graduate students from across disciplines attended the 2025 Missouri Soybean Center Symposium on March 5 at Memorial Union. The symposium brought together researchers and stakeholders across the soybean value chain to network, present research findings, and promote interdisciplinary collaborations.
