CAFNR’s Spring Commencement was held Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Mizzou Arena. More than 700 students earned their degrees from the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR).

During the CAFNR Staff Council “Squeeze the Day” Staff Appreciation Week lunch May 22, CAFNR Vice Chancellor and Dean Christopher Daubert recognized six CAFNR staff members with the CAFNR Driver to Distinction award. This award recognizes those who go above and beyond to create the best CAFNR experience for students, faculty and staff.

CAFNR recognized a number of faculty and staff members who gave back to Mizzou as part of Giving Day this spring. A drawing was held for gift certificates to our CAFNR student-run businesses. Pictured here is Marie Dickerson, building manager and safety coordinator, Biochemistry, who won the Buck’s Ice Cream prize. Other winners included Lisa Williams (not pictured), senior director of advancement, who received the Tiger Garden gift certificate; and Patrick Market (pictured below), director of the School of Natural Resources, who received a Mizzou Meat Market gift certificate, which he asked to donate to The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri.
