Q: Why did you choose to come to the University of Missouri?
A: I came because the campus is beautiful, has a good hospitality program, and is the perfect distance from home (Wadsworth, Illinois).
Q: Why did you choose to pursue your degree?
A: I have always wanted to create experiences for people, especially during vacation or their leisure time.
Q: Did you partake in any research, study abroad, or internship opportunities? What did you enjoy about those experiences?
A: I studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I think it taught me so much more than what I could’ve learned in class, and it was amazing to experience a whole new culture.
Q: What is a favorite memory you have during your time in CAFNR?
A: This isn’t so much a memory, but the people you meet in this program are people you will remember forever: professors, classmates, and all the people in between.
Q: How did your degree program prepare you for the future?
A: I feel confident in taking a leadership position right after I graduate because of what I have learned in the past four years.
Q: What are your future plans?
A: I will be a Resort Operations Supervisor at the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
