CAFNR Alumni Association Awards More Than $50,000 in Grants, Impacting Nearly 1,600 Students in 2024-2025

Grant program is supported by the CAFNR 150 Endowment.




The College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) Alumni Association is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024-2025 CAFNR 150 Grants. This prestigious grant program, supported by the CAFNR 150 Endowment, continues to make a significant impact on the lives of students and educators at the University of Missouri. The endowment allows CAFNR to award $100,000 in scholarships and more than $50,000 in grants annually for student programs and teaching improvements.

The CAFNR 150 Endowment was established with the goal of enhancing educational opportunities, supporting student success, and fostering innovative teaching practices. The funds provided through these grants have made a wide range of experiences possible for students and faculty alike, including:

  • Educational Trips: Offering students hands-on learning experiences in diverse agricultural settings and industries.
  • Career Development Programs: Funding innovative initiatives that prepare students for successful careers in agriculture, food and natural resources.
  • Classroom Technology Enhancements: Supporting cutting-edge advancements in teaching that provide students with a modern, interactive learning environment.
