CAFNR Alumni Association Announces 2025-2026 CAFNR 150 Grant Winners

The CAFNR 150 Endowment allows CAFNR to award over $50,000 in grants annually.

The College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (CAFNR) Alumni Association is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025-2026 CAFNR 150 Grants. This prestigious grant program, supported by the CAFNR 150 Endowment, continues to make a significant impact on the lives of students and educators at the University of Missouri. The endowment allows CAFNR to award over $50,000 in grants annually for student programs and teaching improvements.

The CAFNR 150 Endowment was established with the goal of enhancing educational opportunities, supporting student success, and fostering innovative teaching practices. The funds provided through these grants have made a wide range of experiences possible for students and faculty alike, including:

  • Educational Trips: Offering students hands-on learning experiences in a variety of agricultural settings and industries.
  • Career Development Programs: Funding innovative initiatives that prepare students for successful careers in agriculture, food, and natural resources.
  • Classroom Technology Enhancements: Supporting cutting-edge advancements in teaching that provide students with a modern, interactive learning environment.

“CAFNR 150 grants ensure that students have access to experiences and opportunities that enrich their academic journey and prepare them for the future,” said Brett Wessler, CAFNR Alumni Association president. “This year’s recipients are continuing to push the boundaries of innovation and excellence, and we’re proud to support them in these endeavors.”

Since its inception, the CAFNR 150 Endowment has played a crucial role in providing financial support to students who might not otherwise have access to higher education, and in fostering advancements that elevate the quality of learning at CAFNR.
