
Andrew Clarke, associate professor of food science, received the 2025 Signal Service Fellow Award from the American Meat Science Association for outstanding contributions to the meat industry.
The AMSA Signal Service Fellow Award was established in 1956 and is given to members in recognition of devoted service and lasting contributions to the meat industry and to the association.
Clarke’s research focuses on meat processing technology with emphasis on restructured or low-fat meat products, supercritical fluid extraction and meat extrusion.
