Canvas and Panopto
Canvas is a cloud-hosted learning management platform. Panopto is a lecture capture and presentation recording tool integrated within Canvas.

- How to install the Panopto Recorder Application
- On university-owned computers, please locate the Panopto installer located in “Software Center”. If it fails, restart and try again.
- On personal computers, Panopto is available as a download from Canvas.
- Note: Some students have reported that they cannot view recording if they are in a playlist. To avoid using playlists, be sure to select the appropriate course folder before recording your presentation.
Zoom Videoconferencing — videoconferencing software that may be integrated with Canvas or used as a standalone application.
