At the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, you can acquire a solid foundation of business and economic skills as well as agricultural knowledge while earning your agribusiness management degree. Agribusiness management career opportunities include agribusiness and food industry sales, commodity and food product marketing, entrepreneurial endeavors, farm management and production, financial management and analysis, human and public relations, policy and law and supply chain management.

All CAFNR undergraduate students take part in a “signature experience” during their time on campus. This is denoted as the “RISE” Initiative: Research, International, Service learning, Experiential learning.

Two years ago, the Mizzou National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) team placed fourth during NAMA’s National Student Marketing Competition — the first time Mizzou NAMA had made it to the final round of the national competition in more than 10 years. Last year, Mizzou took home top honors.

CAFNR Has a Lot to Offer

Each of the 14 degree programs in CAFNR impact the largest industries in the region and address the most significant challenges in our world today, including agricultural policy and economics; tourism and hospitality; food nutrition, production, processing and safety; environmental sustainability; and animal and human health.

  • CAFNR awards $1.5 million in scholarships annually
  • Graduation rate is 17% higher than state and national averages
  • 98.8% of graduates are employed full-time or enrolled in graduate school
  • 200-plus employers recruit CAFNR students
  • 51% of CAFNR students graduate debt free
  • Multiple accelerated programs provide opportunities to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees simultaneously
