A Message from the Office of Research
 (click to read)

As I reflect on this year, I pause to share my thanks for your remarkable contributions to CAFNR’s research enterprise in 2025. We are tireless in our quest to solve the most pressing issues in our world today. I hope you are as proud as I am of the work we do and how it impacts producers, consumers, communities, economies, the environment; all Missourians and beyond!

In 2025, CAFNR research hit a number of exciting milestones:

  • #2 institution in the nation for Agricultural Sciences federal expenditures
  • $88 million in total CAFNR research expenditures for FY25, the highest in CAFNR history

And much of our research doesn’t just stop when campus closes for the holidays – I appreciate all of you who continue to care for animals and other research endeavors over winter break. Truly, it takes each and every one of us to keep exploring, keep solving, keep innovating.

Thank you for everything you to do power our impact!

Best wishes for a special holiday season!
