Nominations for CAFNR’s Outstanding Students and Outstanding Student Club/Organization are due Wednesday, March 1. To nominate or apply, visit the CAFNR Student Council page. The awards will be presented at CAFNR’s Celebration of Excellence on Tuesday, April 11.

The Spring 2023 CAFNR/Arts and Science In-Person Career Fair is scheduled from noon until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, in the Mizzou Rec Center. All Mizzou students are welcome to participate. Interested students can visit Handshake to see a complete list of registered organizations and download the Career Fair Plus app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Professional attire is required.

  • The Mizzou Livestock Judging Team recently finished third at the Dixie National Collegiate Beef Judging contest, held in Jackson, Miss. Along with the third-place overall finish, the team finished third in Reasons, Market Steers and Continental Cattle. The group earned fifth-place markings in Brahman Cattle and English Cattle as well. Jenna Blessing, a senior agriculture major, finished sixth in Market Steers.
