University of Missouri Provost Latha Ramchand recently announced that William Stackman, associate vice president for student services at the University of Notre Dame, has been appointed as vice provost for student affairs at MU effective July 15. Stackman earned his master’s degree in parks and recreation administration from the University of Missouri.
“I’m thrilled to have Dr. Stackman join the University of Missouri,” Ramchand said. “He is a strong leader with a demonstrated track record in higher education. As an MU alumnus, he is familiar with our university, and he has the expertise to provide leadership and vision in administering a comprehensive portfolio of programs.”
In his current role at Notre Dame, Stackman oversees programs such as the McDonald Center for Student Well-Being, the University Counseling Center, Graduate Student Life and University Health Services.
