Career Exploration Days offer students a look at careers in agriculture, food and natural resources

Everyone is invited to the grand opening of the Land of the Osages Research Center on Tuesday, Oct. 29. The first new Center to open in CAFNR’s Agricultural Experiment Station network in more than 30 years, the center will be devoted to research in agroforestry. An entire day of events are planned to mark the occasion. After check-in, starting at 9 a.m., opening ceremonies honoring the Center’s partnership with the Osage Nation will begin at 10 a.m., with a lunch at noon. A Field Day will run from 1-4 p.m. Lunch registration is required, and can be completed at cafnralumni.com/LORC2019.
