Field Day season is here! CAFNR’s Agricultural Research Centers are spread throughout the state and conduct research on everything from cattle genetics to soybeans to pawpaws. The Research Centers represent the uniqueness of agriculture in Missouri. To showcase the endless research taking place at each Research Center, there will be numerous Field Days during the next several months. See the schedule and learn about the different centers across the state.

This month we recognize the following faculty and staff members for their years of service to Mizzou!

  • Charles Nilon, professor, School of Natural Resources, celebrated 30 years of service June 1.
  • Scott Gerlt, senior research associate, applied social sciences, celebrated 10 years of service June 15.
  • Randall Prather, Curators Distinguished Professor, animal sciences, celebrated 30 years of service June. 15.
  • Angie George, administrative assistant, animal sciences, celebrated 30 years of service June 19.
  • Secley Kennedy, executive assistant, food systems and bioengineering, celebrated five years of service June 23.
